305 — Direktlink 05.09.2015, 09:03 Uhr Kristoffer I am currently building up my LR1600/2. I have followed the reeving diagram on the NZG-website, and it looks great. BUT - I have a problem by getting an equal amount of tension on the two threads on the winch. One thread has more tension, when I pull in the A-frame leaving one side of thread very loose. 306 — Direktlink 05.09.2015, 17:38 Uhr Victor Are you sure you reeved it the right way? The thread should change direction 3 times, in the middle and on both sides. The whole thread is one big loop, with the 2 ends on the double winch drum. When I reeved it, I took the thread all the way out off the drum and started reeving in the middle: (numbers are from the NZG diagram) and then for reeving I made a new diagram with the sheeves numbered chronologically. View from behind, 1--16 for the left thread end and 0-1--16 for the right thread end. 309 — Direktlink 06.09.2015, 14:19 Uhr Kristoffer It was just the thread beeing stuck on one of the middle pulleys. I didn't realize that until after I wrote here. It was late friday night, when I reeved the A-frame. Lesson learned - never do that in poor lightning. Hello Kristoffer i reeved the big hook a year ago. - Separate the 2 hook blocks and fix each block with a thread at the boomhead. - Mount a weight at the block you´re reeving. - After reeving a block fix it with a thread or rubber band at the boom sections beneath the head. - After reeving both blocks mount the middle section with the hook itself (hold the ropes stretched!)
