Unfortunately the prices from printing are too expensive (especially in Shapeways, although the quality is outstanding), so i decided to buy a 3D printer and with a little search decide to buy an SLA printer and found that ELEGOO MARS has good reviews and is quite cheap (under 300 euros). After some failures finally achieve to have my first prints. 190 — Direktlink 15.10.2019, 14:54 Uhr basil Hallo Jens The time i buy the printer in Amazon only the translucent resin was available in 1000 gr (as a starter in 3d printing i know that there will be a lot of failures and i will need more resin, in Greece it is not available) so that was the only reason to buy it otherwise i would definitely buy the grey one (it is much better especially in photos). As for the MARS i am satisfied so on but there is a lot of work first to draw a model (correctly) in 3d and to make it also printable. Good choice, but you should slice the parts in a different way, because there is significant stepping. I recommend not printing any parts parallel to the printing bed. Just rotate them a little bit. 196 — Direktlink 11.11.2019, 22:36 Uhr basil Thank you all @Michael: it is always about fun...and a bit of success (rarely) @Jens: the grey resin looks better in photos instead of transculent but i think it is more viscous (although the manufacturer says that it is the same) and therefore in small holes and details are worse, thank you for the tip of the model orientation, but in order to avoid supports (difficult to remove and also leave small pieces in smooth surfaces and detailed pieces that has to be sanded and put cement) i build straight to the platform and i am slicing in 0,04 mm and i think that after the painting the stepping is almost invisible, except from the dust -- BASIL Dieser Post wurde am 11.11.2019 um 22:39 Uhr von basil editiert.
