A Liebherr LR 1600/2 SL2DB with a 90 metre mainboom is currently being used to build the first part of a new Pedestrian and bicycle bridge crossing all tracks of the Central station in Utrecht, Holland. Today, the last section of fase 1 was lifted into place on a radius of 60 metres, this section had a total weight of about 100 tonnes. For this purpose, 345 tonnes of derrick ballast was used at a radius of 18 metres. Peinemann Kranen BV is doing all lifting for this whole project, which is finished at the end of 2016.
