The Linde forklift, is the white strings in the tower original or have you mounted them?

I've just found http://www.tradera.com/VOLVO_ABG7820-auktion-63472365#pic which shows that also the box is totally identical to the Wan Ho box - even down to the small patch of clear plastic film at the two "wings" of the hopper.

Considering the model isn't listed on the Motorart web page and the model has a detail level much lower than the usual Motorart models, I'm almost tending towards the assumption that the Volvo paver is a "fake", meaning that it actually was not authorized by Motorart. I can't prove this, of course.

Well the official Motorart distributor in Scandinavia have the model in the online shop. So I belive it must be a Motorart model. I rather think the castings form the old has been bought up by Motorart.

Intereting, I have something similar (A Siku Linde forklift) and it dont have the strings.

The paver is not a "true" motorart model, the castings has been bought from another manufacturer by Motorart. So says Mats at www.motorart.nu

No strings at all? So you can move the boom extension and the fork independently? (The strings make the fork go up when you extend the boom.)

The extension and forks are the same piece, so the forks can only be moved to the top of the tower.

Today I got the new Kalmar DCE160 forklift from MLB Models. Really nice model, although the steering was far from what a real forklift can steer! Also the forks isnt able to be lowered on the ground.

What a pity.
But since Linde's main plant is in my hometown, I'd preferred a Linde fork lift anyway.
