on a recent visit the Demag PC9600 was in sarens yard in middlesbrough being tidied up in anticipation of it going to kazakhstan on a major refinery project, which was one of the expected destinations for the ex-marino CC8800?
Does any one here have details of this project
Talking to the guys in the yard, they were not expecting to see crane for 2 years.
Whilst in the office i got to see the list of cranes currently operated by sarens in the uk and it included:
Demag PC9600
Demag CC4000
Demag TC3200 x2
Gottwald AK680-3
Liebherr LTM11000D
Krupp GMK350

I think the crane is back in Belgium now.

After another good look i think its not the foot of the superliftmast but the foor part of the jib.

Here two pictures of the ballast-trailer. Its the same as for the CC 8800 and obviously also for the CC 9800.

Next job for the PC 9600 is the building of a new powerplant in the Netherlands. The crane will be completely overhauld and wil get a superliftballstcarrier same as for the CC 8800. Start of the project in the Netherlands wil be the beginning of januari 2010.

Hallo Zusammen,
Meine Infos sind, das ab Heute der PC9600 von Sarens in Rotterdam aufgebaut wird. Da ab der naechsten Woche die ersten Teile geliefer werden.Der Bau wird auch zwischen Weihnachten und dem Neuen Jahr hinvor gefuehrt.

Dann ist da wohl der erste reine (reine unterstrichen) PC Kran mit Ballastwagen?
Felbermayr hat das ja mal mit der LR 1750 gemacht.Wenn der OW vom LG 1750 nicht zu hoch wäre... Sieht bestimmt lustig aus. Beim PC 6800 ginge das auch, hat aber keiner einen.
