You should check the Liebherr site once, you can find much info in the brochure: http://www.liebherr.com/catXmedia/cr/Documents/128283a0-5b43-4a6b-bca2-ac8d135a3945.pdf

As of today, dimensions of the boom sections aren't mentioned in there (yet).

@kabiki: Your CC12000 model looks really great!
Have you built the full boom system or only the base machine?

Bye,

Sebastian

Take another look, especially at page 14
S - 3.2x2.7 m
LI - 2.6x2.1 m
D - 2.6x2.0 m
These should be the System dimensions from centre to centre of the corner tubes. Of course more data would be nice, but it's at least something, and with the help of pictures building a mast should be possible.

@ Robert which you mean is not the system dimensions, that is the designation of the system.

S= 3227

LI= 2621

D= 2620

@ kabiki

The dimensions for S (3227) should be aprox 10.5 ft high , 11.48 ft wide and each section are 20 or 40ft long. The other Dimensions I don´t know also.

yours

Stefan Seifert

Hi Speddy,

Some explanation:
For reference please take a look at the data sheet of the LG 1750, page 15 (transportation plan). There you can see the designation of the system as well as the outer dimensions.

Comparing the outer dimensions with the system designation we've got:
2826 - 3mx3m
2421 - 2.6x2.4m

Thinking about this my conclusion is that the system designation refers (as i wrote in my last post) to the distances of the centres of the four corner tubes of the mast segments - or, if you like, to the distances between the centres of the bolt connections.
So I assume that a mast section system 2826 has a dimension of 2.8 by 2.6 m from centre to centre of the corner tubes. Given the outer dimensions of the section I would assume that the corner tubes have an outer diameter of 193.7 or 219.1 mm (which are standard dimensions of steel tubes). So you get a total width of 2,800 mm + 193.7/219.1 mm = 2,993.7/3,019.1 mm, what gives 3 m if rounded.
Of course - these dimensions are no facts, but just the thoughts I have when I think about the designations and what system would stand behind them.

So again: all this is just an assumption. I may be right, I may be wrong. It's just what I think and how I would do it if building a model. If I am right, the 2.8 m might be 2750 or 2840 mm too - but I think such differences can be neglected.

May be I'll get the possibility to take measure on a mast section sometime in the future. Then I would know If I'm right or wrong.

btw: DEMAG uses similar designations for their mast sections.

cu,
robert

Yes cc12000 in scale is 1/87 and it will be almost finish,
and i plan to custom made another one lr11350,
maybe 1/50 or 1/87. but i prefer in 1/87, because my house is small >_<!
