Hi!

I visited a site yesterday outside the city of Falun where five Vesta's windpowerplants are being constructed. Here are pics from the day!

Starts with a pic from the Swedish cenery:

First machine for the day, Volvo BM A20C. Rarley see one of thoose!

Next machine, a Sany 230C excavator with Scanlaser system and tiltator from Steelwrist:

Behind me stand two completed mills, impressive!

They have built a big road in the middle of the forest:

First mill I get close, shorter than the two erlier but still very impressive:

Closing up to the main attraction...

A telehandler, Panoramic, from Kynningsrud:

And the biggest monster in the forest, TEREX-DEMAG CC2800-1 from Kynningsrud.

And with me next to it, Im 185cm tall:

The crane again:

Here is the service crane, a Liebherr LTM1160/2, from Industri Lyft in Borlänge:

The Liebherr is big itself but it is still very small next to the Demag even if it is further away:

Abit further down the road stood this Komatsu PC228USLC:

Next to the Komatsu stood this peice of old Iron; Volvo BM A25:

After the ADT stood this John Deere 6320 with vibrator roller:

End of the road, place for the 5th and last Vestas mill, a Scania 144G 530 from Kynningsrud stand next to the big generator:

Vestas Generator, bigger than a truck!

Lifting device:

You gotta love Kynningsrud's colors! Here seen a Scania 144G 530 with counterweight trailer:

Weights on the trailer, belonging to the LTM1160 shown erlier:

Foundation for the 5th mill:

And the last pic, the view is really something. Gotta envy the workers for this!

Hi Niklas

Do you know how long the CC2800-1 will be on site? And perhaps where it's going next?

Thanks!

Kristoffer> No sorry I dont. Theyre gonna build one more mill so they must move the crane, get all the pieces and then dismantle the crane and ship it. So a week or two more I belive?
