Hello all. thought i would share some work with you. this is a model i received from another person on another website that was badly repainted to Sarens, it had many problems. Paint was horrible and the person epoxied everything into place.

Before pictures

and here is the model now. its not complete, i still need to finish painting the rims and put decals, i realize there might be some inaccuracies but finding pictures of a Bruns LTM 1060 was very hard so i had to go off pictures of other Bruns Cranes, please inform me if some changes need to be made, and any comments or questions are always appreciated.

thanks for looking.

Encore!

No, seriously: looks pretty good.
However, I was wondering why you have choosen a German operator for your paint job. I guess, I would have preferred an operator "round the corner".

Bye,

Sebastian

american cranes dont really do much in terms of repaints, we just buy the factory color and slap some boring decals on it and call it a livery.... thats BORING! Bruns looked very sharp and appealing to me, i think the colors go well together and i like things that stand out, im not one to like to go with all one company, i like to switch it up and have unique liveries.

i would like to do a James Jack crane, i plan on doing a Stevenson Crane repaint ( they are out of Chicago) <---- there is your "round the corner" for ya and a couple others i would like to do

Having been present during the rebirth of this model, I can tell you that it looks fantastic. I would not have put blue and orange together-who knew? No to try our hand at decals!

Bob, blue and orange are one of the best combinations to be used on cranes... you´ll learn over time buddy...

good luck with the model, show pics of it finished!
