Dear all,
well finally here it is!

I'll be the first to admit that it is way from perfect but on the whole I am fairly happy. I messed up the decals on the boom so these will be done again at some point. The final boom section had to be completely repainted as it was messed up quite badly, hence there are no decals at all! There are also some spots that need a touch of paint where it chipped off. I should also have put an extra warning beacon on the right hand side of the drivers cab but forgot :-]

But on the positive side I have learnt a lot from this repaint, most important of which is do not apply paint too thickly!! A good serving of patience also goes a long way #-o

This model has had the YCC detail kit and cylinders added. I also attempted to rebuild the front grill, but not entirely happy with how this turned out. Guess it was not bad for a first attempt. Again, lessons learned here will be useful for the future. I also scratch built the exhaust, which I am actually quite proud of! Such a small item but took plenty of time! I also added the license plates and mudguards down each side.

But enough talk, here are the pictures:

Now all I need is WSI or one of their partners to make a nice ballast rig to match!

Thanks for looking,

Paul R

Really nice paint job!
And also good job on the details.I really like that custom exhaust.
But please don´t drive too fast on the motorway !
Might get too hot otherwise.
