Gents,

Sorry for writing in English on a German-speaking forum, but my knowledge of German language is such a a pity!

I just bought the WSI/Nooteboom 1:50 set made of a FH 3-axle Volvo + Nooteboom Euro 99-24 ID lowloader. The tractor unit can be fitted with an extra rear axle (small size dual-tyred wheels arrangement) with "O A A/S" labelled on its mudflaps. I couldn't find so far any info on this extra axle builder, but going through the forum, I found that this axle arrangement is common with Denmark heavy haulage companies (various Torben Rafn Volvos are fitted with such extra axles).
Any info on equipment fabricator, extra axle capacity... will be appreciated.

Axle loads depends on the regulations, but can be up to 12 tonnes.

Another builder is HFR Roderkro.

Hi Guy

I guess "O A A/S" refers to OA Opbyg A/S . A company who makes changes in the axle configuration mainly on Volvo trucks. If you click on Produkter in the top menu you can find an overview of the various axle configurations they make.

The tag axles from Torben Rafn are made by HFR Rødekro. Click on Sværlast in the menu in the green box on the right, and you can see some details about the tag axle (in Danish) and some pictures.
