I finish this model some months ago but in this forum I dont put the photos. Now I think its interesting. My girder trailer now is reforming for transport more biggest pieces than transformers.
The first unit I made was in wood but it hasn´t enough quality. The actal was made in aluminium cutted with laser. I put the first photo I make after cut.
I hope the readers enjoy with it
best regards
Albert

Just out of curiosity: Did you do the forming of aluminium(?) parts by hand or was there any machinery (aside from an electric drill) involved?

Edit: Sorry - should've read your posting more intensively.

Regards,

Sebastian

Hello, Alberto,
You say parts are laser cut...do you have the laser cutter yourself or do you give your drawings to a laser-cutting company ?

regards

Matthieu

Hello Sebastian and Papy, youre welcome in this english part.
The process I follow was;

1- I saw the load test from Artetxe girder trailer with goldhofer techichnical service germany
2- I saw the transport with this unit
3- became to draw in my computer the girder trailer in 1:50
4- print
5- make the model in wood cutted by hand in my home
6- the model are not so pretty and many problems with the holes with my dremel
7- became the idea to make in solid aluminium
8- I draw in autocad
9- I find a industrial laser cut industrie in Madrid who cutted me all the pieces
10- some holes are so small for laser, the piece in aluminium are too wide
11- I make with dremel machine holes, small pieces for coupling, and the bars who change the apperture from two schnabels. My idea from the beginning are that my model was equal modular as 1:1 and I can change the high, wide and extension in all the model with screw.
12- pre-paint
13- airbrush with the same paint colour. Artetxe gives me some bottles
14- I make the decals in vinile cuttled as original, I usually make my own decals in my computer.
15- make the configuration with the 2 14 axles painted too
16- finish the 2 artetxe tractor units
17- make the first photos

thats all
I hope you serve, if you want I can send you some other photos with some part from this process
best regards and many thanks in this happy old 2005
Alberto

Hy Demetrio,

I'm very familiar with laser (I was a designer for a Laser cutting company).
But I'm sure that you used not alluminium 99% but "peralluman" that is possible to cut with CO2 laser machine (with N2 auxiliar gas).

Your work is very GOOD!!!
Greetings from Italy and a good 2006 to all members.

I want to see photographs of the first part of the process (load test) as you stated on your last posting.

Hello Alberto,

nobody wants to fight with you!

You said that the first part of the process was seeing the load test of Artetxe's bridge and that if anyone wanted, you could post more pics of the process.

I asked you to post these pics and you did not do it.

Why you always promise things and say that your are going to make bla bla bla and then you do not do anything? You are a liar and I don't like liars because I think they see me like an idiot.

You new headline for this year should be: "I SHOULD DO WHAT I PROMISE, IF NOT I SHOULD SHUT UP"

Here a proof of one of your lies:

Zitat:
my friend alberto Quijano ask me if I can put this photos here for the big interest generated with this company.
this are one photo for each crane. The most interesting photo mybe is the LR1400 2W with the walking position outriggers.
Soon they receive the LTM1500 YSL 84m boom with rigid and pivoted jib
He is working too in the painting for the new trucks that this company reciently buy.
(he said me this photos are specially for Erik32, who ask him for its)
I hope you like

my best regards

Are you Demetrio or the real Alberto?

If you want more proofs of your lies, just ask. I have thousands...

As Christian saids Calm. I dont insult to nobody here, you could see.
1- Respect the photos from the process obviously I refered to the model building process, this board is about models not is the general forum.
2- photos promised came when I consider is the moment I dont forget my promise
3- youre true, I´m not demetrio I´m alberto, but you know in forums people ususally use nickname as "ac700".... is correct for me. You know my last name was deleted, and I like to post in this forum.

I hope you understand me if not you have my phone number, I think this is not the place and the way.
I put more photos about the model -as I said-
best regards Jorge and other readers

Nice model - I would very much like to see pictures of the original girder bridge. I didn't know that Goldhofer had made such a girder bridge - thought the largest was the type that ran by Dansk Specialtransport some years ago (now with Voss)...

Just realized - I do know that Goldhofer has made such a girder bridge. Davenport Marino in the US also has such a bridge.

Picture is from the Davenport Marino website.

Hi Kristofer,
Many thanks for your comentaries.
Let me inform you this board is for models, not real transport. It will be nice to open a new post about Goldhofer girder bridge history and units.
But as you open this question I can said the Artetxe girder bridge is a second hand girder bridge, Goldhofer takes the turkish Magdenly girder bridge and gives to Artetxe who repair, paint and actualizate with some modifications.
The Marino is similar, but smaller, you can see in long and the aperture design. Even Artetxe can run over a 2 14 lines axles with a total weight 400 tons. You can see the photos from Magdenly in a website I can remember, and Artetxe girder trailer photos was printed in the magazine International Cranes. Even reciently Podszun launch a book called Goldhofer and Artetxe girder trailer apeear too.
Best regards
Alberto
