This days we have some days without working and we called bridge days. This idea takes me to make a movement with a AC500 and AC700. I think interesting to "lanzar" the concrete beam to make the work easyer.
New crane from Roxu and truck are presented here.

Best regards (since new models appear as LTM1800)

Interesting story! And an interesting "hand over" of the bridge from one crane to the other!

Well done!

Edit: Well, I think a concrete bridge in these dimensions would be a little bit too heavy, however, if it's a kind of steel works bridge then it could be realistic. Anyway, great story!!

Alberto,

I suspect your rear transport bogie to be a home-made Trayl'Ona unit. Would you mind posting a few detail pictures of it?

Many thanks.

Hello Hendrik,
Youre very wright in your comentaries, its a big concrete beam for two telescopic cranes even if its a AC500 & AC700, but not all the big concrete beams weight the same sometimes 120 tons sometimes 180 tons ans equal size. Concrete beams its a very extrange world about measures and weights and evolution when you put the concrete beam in the correct place. This movement I tried to repruduce was seen by me and another friend in Madrid but the first crane colapsed. But the idea is make the work with a low cost instead to use a lattice crane boom with more boom as I made in other post with a LR1750 with the G8 boom section.
But of course I´m agree with you its a bit forced movement for this 2 cranes probably they are with the security system disconected....
thanks for comentaries

- GuyM, you´re correct, its a Trailona unit, very common in Spain for transport this big concrete beams. I look for photos from my model process and more details for you, but I advise you It could be made it better I was very fast....
Best Regards

GuyM,

This is the evolution of the model, very cheap, as you see
with JOAL

Alberto,

I had in project the construction of a similar Trayl'Ona bogie with Joal left-over parts. Many thanks for pictures above: that will help me to progress my model.

Keep on showing your impressive models. All the best.
