Hi

Looks like you have a nice diorama there - do you have some picture taken further away, so we can see more of the diorama?

The GMK3055 looks good with the cains and the storage box.

Best regards

Hello Kristoffer

Thank you!I will post some more pictures very soon.I am doing some work on the structure of the diorama. It will be mostly demolition and cranes.Thank you for your interest.I have taken the GMK7550 to bits.It will be stripped and primed soon.It will then be painted green and black. The colours of James Jack.Do you know were I might be able to get some logos made?

regards

Michael

Contact Birger here in the forum - he is one of the moderators, but he also makes decals of very high quality.
If you look at the models from Christian Schätzle and Erik Siks you can see some of Birger's work.
Birger also has a homepage.

Thank you for the info.I have seen some of Eriks cranes before. His Franz Bracht ac700 is excellent work.I also want to get an LTM1800.This one will be in AINSCOUGH colours. So the tip for the decals is most appreciated.I did not know how I was going to get them done so perfectly!Again many thanks.

Hi Michael,

Would be great to see an Ainscough LTM1800!!
Would you happen to have pics of the 1:1 LTM1800 of the newer type from Ainscough? The one with the later cab, not the old version i mean, i think it was an ex-Baldwins.

I'm working on a 1:50 Sarens boomtransporter for the LTM1800 right now, based in the U.K. of course. You can find a 1:1 pic of it in the "Masttransportvarianten für LTM1800" thread in the Vorbild section.

And Birgers decals are indeed very good (as is his English, so feel free to write him an email if you have questions).

Erik

Hi Erik,

I'm sorry I don't have any pics of the crane myself. But if you go to this site: http://cranesandheavyhaulage.fotopic.net . Again I am sorry, I don't know how to make that link live. There are some photos of the latest LTM1800 that Ainscough operate (I think).

The boom transporter sounds very interesting. How much is left before its complete? I am very impressed with the decals of Birger on the cranes and will have plenty of designs for models.

Michael

I know the link btw (i even visited it yesterday), very nice pics! But it's the older type 1800, Ainscough also have/had one of the new types, that's the one i'm searching for. It was shown in one of the Nooteboom books as well.

The boomtransporter is slowly coming together. The Scania should be finshed soon, and i'll start paiintstripping the boom for repainting this weekend. The trailer will be scratchbuild and is not very far into the build, so expect me to work on it for atleast the next two months or so.
