Here is my latest custom build. a 2 axle boom dolly which is headed to a customers Liebherr LTm 1200

Unpainted

All painted

All hooked up on the boom

The real dolly

I will be selling these, I am also coming out with a 3 axle version in a few weeks

very nice indeed, but how does it connect to the crane boom? the bolt eyes are open to the top...

it is designed to reduce taxle loads to meet national US legislation. also sometimes you are not allowed to have the boom pointing forward

however in real the boom dolly can have contradictory results leading to even higher axle loads and road damage

Phil, here in the US, MOST cranes are not allowed to drive with the boom forward, only very small crane can actually do it.... so we have to spin the boom so its backwards and then put it in a boom dolly to lower the axle weights for the roads. if you ask me it just takes away from the look of a crane, the crane should drive with the boom forward and hook block attached

Do you have a picture for your modell from the Trailerhatch?

For example: your crane in scale 1:50 and your dollytrailer on cranehatch
