Zitat: | Paul R postete Ha ha - you caught me! On some photos I make a stack of multiple shots as in this case. But when something is moving then it is doubled. |
Why are you stacking photos? To improve the depth of field or to improve the dynamic range?

Hi, Normally it is to improve depth of field. When I take photos indoors, light is not as good so I use f9, but DoP is not enough. If I use f22 for example, the the shutter speed is a lot longer and the light on the image deteriorates. So I prefer a quicker shutter speed, stack 2-3 images and maintain nice light.
Also, for shots where the distance from front to back is greater, f22 is not enough to get it all sharp. Especially when I use my 100mm macro as I sometimes do. In these cases there can be up to 12 images that are stacked but it means normally everything is sharp from from to back. When I do this outside it also means I can get a nice bokheh effect in the background.
But I have to be careful of things that move, which was clearly evident in this photo!
